AMCB certified nurse-midwife with active California RN license, NMW certification along with current ACLS and NRP certification. CA NMW furnishing license and DEA required but can be obtained during orientation. Out-of-hospital experience preferred. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Job Summary

Circle City Midwifery & Women’s Health Services is seeking a nurse-midwife interested in a full-scope practice position in a vibrant, fast-growing service in Southern California. Circle City Midwifery has regenerated Beach Cities Midwifery under new management and ownership. We promote the true midwifery model of care in a collaborative practice environment with outstanding physician and hospital support.  The midwife has the ability to provide care in the hospital and free-standing birth center with option for home birth. This position will provide coverage for the birth center and also be scheduled as ‘laborist’ in the hospital practice.

The position is full-scope midwifery and includes office hours and shared call schedule with sufficient time to provide comprehensive care. Support is provided by front and back office staff in the office and birth assistant/nursing staff for labor and birth in the birth center and hospital.

Candidate must have current active License and Certification in California to be considered for this position.

Clinical Director of Midwifery: True Care (San Marcos, CA)

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)/Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Clinical Director of Women's Health Services (WHS), the Clinical Director is charged with setting the agenda for clinical practice development, professional training, quality improvement programming and reporting as well as business administrative leadership duties which include close collaboration with the CMO/COO, and the Clinical Director's respective Directors of Operations, Lead Clinicians and Health Center Managers to ensure the provision of effective quality medical service to the patients of the Health center. The Clinical Director is responsible for assuring clinical procedures are continually and systematically followed in practice to assure optimal performance in achieving patient safety as recipient of clinical care, adherence to accepted standards of care, vigilance over risk management practices, satisfactory clinical outcomes and continuous quality improvement within their respective practices, in the areas of patient experience, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of care, and operational efficiencies to optimize patient flow and customer service.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a Midwifery Program accredited by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Licensed as a Midwife in California.
Availability to work a variable schedule, extended hours and/or weekend/overnight shifts.
Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

CNM: Eisner Health

Eisner Health is seeking TWO candidates: One for a full-scope certified nurse midwife position (clinic and hospital based), and one for a clinic-only position. Our team cares for a diverse population and attends births at California Hospital Medical Center-Dignity Health. We provide outpatient services in Downtown LA, Lynwood, in the Valley, and on the Westside. We also have a school-based site. We work collaboratively with our team of physicians and we teach Family Medicine residents, Midwifery/WHNP students, and medical students, both in the hospital and in the clinic. We are looking for providers with some experience (at least 2 years preferred) and are hoping for Spanish proficiency. We would consider a new grad who has done a fellowship or residency.
